HOW WE GOT HERE:
For over a year we have thought about where Caffeine Crawl number 100 would take place. We knew it would be a special one. Going into 2020 we had a location in mind. Then, March was upon us and a pandemic. As the months went by we were looking for a solution that connected with who we are and what we do.
With 2020 throwing all kinds of hurdles at all of us we felt like the best solution was to create an event where:
1) Everyone can join in from the comfort of their liking. 2) Local businesses from around the country can participate no matter if in a town of 1,000 or the busiest shop in LA. 3) A ticket price that is cheap, yet full of entertainment. Out of this strategy is our 1st Virtual Caffeine Crawl, and event that everyone can be a part of.
MOVING FORWARD:
We have seriously felt so appreciative and blessed to continue our Caffeine Crawl while nothing else in coffee or tea has been able to come together. Yes, we've had to downsize, spend many more hours in safety prep, and so on, but we've felt like it has been our responsibility to create a safe entertainment in times like this. Caffeine Crawl has truly been the only event in the industry creating real life community and bringing consumer dollars to local shops during all this.
THIS EVENT:
In typical Caffeine Crawl philosophy and culture we encourage you to enjoy your route(s) whether with friends hosting your own watch party, solo outside at your favorite peaceful spot, during breaks at work, or whatever feels good to you. This event will run for a whole week, and we will add new content daily from quizzes, challenges and wacky insight to receive prizes.
Each route has 8 different businesses from coast-to-coast working within craft coffee, tea, and chocolate. Each one sharing videos that are educational and entertaining. The routes have been put together by topics to avoid overlap, locations of operation to create a diverse landscape, and include enjoyable and interesting content from our sponsors in addition to the lineup on each route. Some of the participating shops have included discounts on items that only you will receive, and those are included in the routes. Each route purchase comes with a commemorative ticket mailed to you as a keepsake. Then, there's the VIP route, which includes access to both routes and a gift box from us and sponsors to these 50 ticket holders.
As always, grab your caffeine-loving friends and join us online. Select the route, or routes, that interest you the most. We're excited to have you a part of this, and let's add some happiness to a rough year.
