For the first time we are bringing a smaller sample size of the Caffeine Crawl to six cities in the same month. We are calling this Caffeine Crawl Here and There, with hopes of making it an annual summer event. The six great locations we selected have either never hosted a Caffeine Crawl yet, or haven't in several years. We're hoping this plants the seeds to do larger events in these cities in the near future, plus put a spotlight on the local coffee and tea scene in these great places.
Over two different Saturdays, June 11th and 18th, the following cities will host one route visiting a select number of local spots - Des Moines, Sacramento, Fort Worth, Lincoln, Providence, and Fargo. There are a limited number of tickets available for this event, and tickets will go fast. Caffeine Crawls are family-friendly, and educational without the pretentiousness - not a better way to sample a variety of drinks in the area.
WHAT IS A CAFFEINE CRAWL: Essentially, it’s the coolest and most approachable event revolving around coffee shop culture in the country. It bridges the gap between consumers and industry pros in a celebration of the local specialty scene. You'll visit each location on your route for the assigned 30 minute time slot where they will provide an educational talk, and/or presentation along with a sampling of drink(s). Some shops/roasters allow a few minutes in that timeframe for you to browse, and ask more one-on-one questions. When you typically visit these locations there are lines, you might be in a hurry, and you have to speak over a loud machine to ask a question. We make it welcoming and approachable. This will be our 124th Caffeine Crawl, so we've been around the block a few times. More specific questions? Learn more about the Caffeine Crawl experience here.
