There was so much interest and excitement revolving around San Diego's untapped coffee scene a few years back that we had to see for our self. One trip sealed the deal, and the first annual event took place in January of 2014. There were 10 participating businesses that first year. Fast forward to this event where there's nearly 30 for this sixth annual San Diego Caffeine Crawl. It continues to grow, and shape into one of the most exciting coffee events on all of the West Coast.
San Diego is top on the list of one of our most scenic Caffeine Crawls. This Crawl travels from North County beach towns, La Mesa's hills, Pacific Beach's Mission Blvd., all the downtown area spots, and so many other neighborhoods that make this city one of the best in the country. The local scene is one of the best in the country, plus you throw in San Diego's fabulous weather, and that's a pairing that can't be beat.
This line-up includes local roasters, green coffee and tea importers, cafes and companies - many long time industry veterans, and several new faces. All bringing their A game to the thriving greater San Diego beverage scene. A total of 10 routes to choose from, each with a different roster of participants, and times to work best with your schedule.
