~ What ~
Join us for a pre-Caffeine Crawl event with Indianapolis's League of Lattes. Area shops come together sampling different batched coffee drinks they created for those in attendance to taste and vote on. Espresso Enterprises will set-up a cupping at this event comparing different TDS (total dissolved solids). Also, baristas will be going head-to-head in a Latte Art Throwdown competition.
~ Who ~
This event is open to anyone!
Competing in Throwdown or Batch Brew - A $5 fee at the door to compete.
Batch Brew Competitors:
Each coffee drink needs to be pre-batched and set up during the event to be sampled for guests. When making your drink think of these 4 elements: base, biter, sweet, sour. All entries need to be alcohol free (except exception mentioned below) and a gallon of ready to serve liquid. Samples can be 2 to 4 oz. pours. Please provide your own cups. Alcohol based biters, tinctures, and extracts are acceptable of no more than an ounce per gallon. Feel free to print and share your recipe, add to social media, etc - this is all in seasonal and community fun.
A winner will be claimed at the end of the event!
Email Jason Burton with Caffeine Crawl to RSVP your spot.
