COLUMBIA TOUR GUIDE NOTES:
Jason - be sure to get stickers and handout from The District (11 South 10th Street) at 8:15. Hannah is contact.
Jason will drop off thank you items, plus do social media for Shortwave and Lakota.
Art is you can drop off thank you items to Camacho + Tiger, Fretboard, and Three Story.
Erin can you capture 2 decent pics at your last 3 stops along with two main things they served/talked about and send to me.
START OF YOUR ROUTE:
Try to get to Shortwave 30 minutes before your start. Introduce yourself to Munir at the starting point. Your goal is to start on time as much as possible. Spend the time that is comfortable for you doing intros whether that is 2 minutes or 6.
(some insight)...Caffeine Crawl was created as a safe space to ask questions, learn more on coffee, tea, and chocolate culture, and build a stronger community supporting local businesses. There are no bad questions, and take advantage of samples and the professionals with you today. Jason, founder of Caffeine Crawl, is always happy to answer questions post-Crawl and throughout the year. This is Caffeine Crawl #116, and second for Columbia. We work in partnership with Discover the (downtown) District for this event.
From here on out your job is to:

- I introduce myself and let them know I’ll be their guide / with them.
- This is a safe and fun place to learn and explore. We encourage questions and there aren’t any bad questions, so ask away. Same with samples - if there are extras there’s no judgment from us, so have more than one.
- What to expect on a Crawl.
- If you need to fill time do something fun like 1) Who here are first time Crawlers? 2) Who has waited to have their first coffee for this event? 3) Who traveled the furthest to be here?
- **You do not need to share your experience / years with the Crawl unless you feel like it helps.

From here on out your job is to:
- Have fun with it.
- Try to keep people on time as much as possible. If you get behind more than 10 minutes let me know and I can alert the next shops.
- Get a head count.
- New for the Crawls is 20-25 minutes will be used by the stops, therefore giving the remaining time to each attendee to use how they would like. The idea is to slow down the pace of the event and get more personal time in.
- Give your group parking tips before leaving and bathroom pointers (be kind to your bladder).
- Take assigned social media notes/pics. See below.
- Feel free to cover more details that you’d like outside your introduction talk, and dive into more intimate conversations along the route.
